Once your deal has been uploaded, you can begin adding text fields, initial and signature tags and crossing out certain items.

Below are the available fields you can add to the dynamic form:

  1. Choose this component to reposition or remove inserted field(s)
  2. Add a text field
  3. Cross out items in the form
  4. Add an initial box
  5. Add a signature box

Completed your 30-day free trial and want to continue using DealTap?

  1. Log in to your DealTap account
  2. Go to “My Profile” by clicking the avatar icon in the side menu
  3. Select “Update Account” at the top or go to the “Subscription Details” tab
  4. Click “Change Plan” and input your plan & payment information. This will switch your account status from “Trial” to a paid realtor account
  5. “Save”

ok-xxlDeal Tip: If your brokerage is already registered with DealTap, you will not need to enter payment information. Enter your brokerage’s Group Code under “Subscription Details”. If you don’t know your brokerage’s Group ID contact your brokerage administrator.

  2. New Deal From Existing: Clone or duplicate an existing deal
  3. My Documents: View all your files and folders
  4. Need help?: Your quick link to support articles and resources. Also allows you to access or disable intelligent alerts and guidance pop-up windows

Here’s a quick breakdown of what each icon represents (from top to bottom):

  1. Dashboard: Your account’s homepage. In here you will create new deals, upload new files and see your latest document feed
  2. Documents: See all your files, folders and forms
  3. Brokerage: View, add and modify DealTap users within your brokerage. (only visible for admin accounts)
  4. Contacts: View, create, edit and import contacts
  5. Clauses: Create, edit, organize, group, and view all brokerage and OREA standard clauses
  6. Support: Access support articles, training, and the customer support line
  7. My Profile: Manage your personal information, plan details, and billing
  8. Upload File: Upload deals, images, and files into your account
  9. New Deal: Create a new deal
  10. New Deal for Agent: Admins can initiate deals or agreements on behalf of agents
  11. Logout: Log out of your DealTap account

Visit app.dealtap.ca/signup and follow the steps below to sign up or create a Dealtap account.

  1. If you’ve received a group code from your brokerage or a promo code, simply add the code in the first field
  2. Fill in the remaining mandatory fields

If you wish to join your brokerage’s account, contact your brokerage or input your brokerage’s Group Code in the Group/Promo code field. If you don’t have your Group Code yet, it can always be added at a later time by selecting My Profile. To learn more about joining your brokerage in DealTap, click here.

After creating your DealTap account, you will need to activate it by verifying your email address:

  1. Access the email used to create your DealTap account and click on ACTIVATE MY ACCOUNT NOW. You will be re-directed to your DealTap accountScreen Shot 2016-12-12 at 3.18.01 PM
  2. Can’t find the email? Expand the banner in your DealTap account and select “Send it again” to receive a new activation email. The activation email should arrive after a few minutes
  3. If you still don’t see the email, check your junk folder or log in to your account and navigate to the Activate Your Account banner found at the top of the window to resend the emailScreen Shot 2016-12-12 at 3.08.15 PM

To create an agreement or to edit an existing PDF file agreement, follow instructions below:

  1. From your Dashboard, click on “New Deal” from either the middle of the page or the icon located in the left panel
  2. Head to the “Upload File” tab
  3. Click on “Browse” to navigate to the file or drag and drop it into the window
  4. Once the deal is selected, click “Create New Deal”

  5. You are now ready to edit the uploaded document by adding text fields, adding signature and initial boxes and crossing out the necessary fields

  • SmartForm™ is a feature within DealTap that provides built-in intelligent features. When sending forms out for signatures, you no longer need to tag the signature fields. SMARTFORM will recognize the role of the party in the agreement, and automatically generate tags for fields that are applicable to them.
  • With our SmartForm™ technology, DealTap understands what each field means in every OREA form. This means we can alter you and your respective parties if inputs are missing or entered incorrectly. This ensures documents are executed right the first time, protecting you from any potential liabilities down the road.
  • We understand it takes time to properly mark where each party needs to sign. Every SmartForm™ has built-in electronic signatures so signatures and initials are already marked for all parties. Simply add your respective party and share for electronic signing, we guide them through the signing process to make sure it is done right every time.
  • Smart Alerts are notifications that appear when creating a deal using SmartForms.
